Occurrence: Rare locally. A single record for the shire, from a mineshaft in Vaughan.
Identification:
Elsewhere the fern grows on damp sheltered spots ( e.g. on the shaded banks of streams). It is small and could easily be overlooked.
ano = upward, gramma = writing, referring to the spores on the extremities of the leaflets. leptophylla, slender leaves.
