Family: Crassulaceae (Stonecrop family).
Native of Africa and Madagascar.
Occurrence: An uncommon garden escape. It is locally abundant in some areas of Australia.
Identification:
- it has masses of terminal bell-shaped red flowers at the ends of the stalks
- it grows to about a metre high
- the leaves are grey and notched at the ends.
