Native to Europe and north Africa.
Occurrence: Often persisting in old house sites.
Identification:
Daffodil (Narcissus pseudonarcissus) is similar. It has larger yellow flowers and the central trumpet is a deeper yellow. There is much variation; there are numerous cultivars and double forms.
