Australian Carraway - native (Oreomyrrhis eriopoda)

Family: Apiaceae (Carrot, parsley family).
Native.

Occurrence: Rare. Record from the banks of Granite Creek by Don Franklin in 1985. I have seen it along the Fryers Ridge-Taradale Road in 1978.

Identification:

• is an erect plant
• the leaves are much-divided, resembling carrot leaves
• flowers are on short salks, radiating from a single attachment point.

Its presence locally is surprising. Carraway is a rather common alpine plant.
