Family: Araceae.
Occurrence: Rare locally. It is a weed of wetter areas e.g. gullies.
Native to southern Africa.
Identfication:
- the fleshy leaves are shaped like an arrow head
- the flower is a yellow spike
- the central flower is surrounded by a white-coloured floral leaf; this looks like a large petal.
