Scarlet Sundew - native (Drosera glanduligera)
Family: Droseraceae (Sundew family).
Scarlet Sundew is rather uncommon. It is usually growing as a grassland or heathland plant where the soil is moist.
Identification:
- it is a small plant, usually to c5cm high
- it has small scarlet flowers

- the plant is covered with small sticky hairs, which trap insects.
