Common Cudweed - native (Euchiton involucratus)
Family: Asteraceae (Daisy Family).
Native.
Occurrence: Scattered.
Identification:
- it usually has a cluster of more than 20 florets
- there are 3-6 (or more) leaves radiating from the base of the flower cluster
- the floral leaves exceed the cluster by 1 to 4 centimetres
- the basal rosette of leaves is withered at flowering.
It has fewer florets in the flower head than Star Cudweed.
