Twining Glycine - native (Glycine clandestina)

Family: Fabaceae (Pea family).

Native.

Occurrence: Uncommon. Harcourt Recreation Reserve bushland, Mt Tarrengower, Mt Alexander, Expedition Pass and Metcalfe.

Identification:

• it is a climbing, twining plant
• the leaves have three narrow leaflets
• it has clusters of blue pea flowers.

The Glycine genus includes Soya Bean (Glycine max).
