Kikuyu
Vigorously spreading lawn grass. Flowers almost or totally hidden by the leaf sheaths.

African Feather-grass
Tall grass to 1.5m. Bristles 10-15mm long. Spikelets falling from immediately below the bristles.

Feathertop
Medium grass to 0.5m. Bristles 20-35mm long. Spikelets falling with 2-4mm of flower stalk attached.

Very common summer grass with bright green flower clusters. Flower clusters over 1cm wide.

Common Reed
Tall grass (over head height), growing in water, often with Cumbungi. Large feathery flower sprays. Common.
