These changes apply to the local plants. Some will not apply to a larger area. For example, the local Brown Stringybarks were classified as Eucalyptus baxteri. They have now been separated as Eucalyptus aurifodina. Eucalyptus baxteri is still a valid name for the Brown Stringybarks in southern Victoria. Obsolete or superseded names are given first.
