Violet Daisy-bush - native (Olearia floribunda)

Family: Asteraceae (Daisy family).

Native.

Occurrence: Rare in our district. Recorded along Bells Lane Tk (east of Welshmans Reef, north of Newstead).

Identification:

• it is a slender shrub to about 1 m tall
• the leaves are small and narrow
• the ray florets of the daisy flower are purple
