Shade Pellitory - native (Parietaria debilis)
Family: Urticaceae (Stinging Nettle family)
Other names: Forest Pellitory.
Occurrence. Locally, it is found in shady areas e.g. at the base of large granite tors, where it is moderately common.
Identification:
- it grows in shady places
- its is a soft sprawling plant
- its leaves are light green, oval to heart-shaped, and with three long veins
- the small flowers are in threes and have white petals; the central flower is stalked.
Local records are for Nuggetty and Mt Tarrengower.
