White Flowers....
Family: Phyllanthaceae. It was formerly included in the Euphorbia family. As with the euphorbias (the rubber tree family), the sap is milky.
Native.
Common bushland plant. It flowers in late spring or summer.
Recognise:
- it is a small leafy herb
- the white flowers are in terminal clusters
- the leaves almost spoon-shaped.
Each plant has separate male and female flowers. The female flowers produce fruit which are on erect stalks.
