Large Autumn Greenhood - native (Pterostylis revoluta)

Family: Orchidaceae (Orchid family).

Native to eastern Australia.

Recognise by

• its single very large (to 4.5cm) flower
• the autumn flowering time
• the lateral sepals which taper to long points.

It is a common autumn orchid. Its large size, its curved hood and its time of flowering makes this an easily recognised orchid.
