Common Ruddyhood - native (Pterostylis squamata)
Family: Orchidaceae (Orchid family).
Occurrence: Rare. Records for the Maldon district.
Recognise:
- it is a several-flowered greenhood
- the flowers have brown tonings
- the tongue is fringed with coarse white hairs
- the tongue has a row of short white hairs at the base.
