Velleias are related to the Goodenias. Velleias differ in that the ovary is above the petals. In Goodenias the ovary is below the petals.
Recognise by
it has a basal tuft of narrow leaves
the flower stalks are branched with a pair of leaves at the base of each branch
the petals are united at the base to form a spur (and hence "Spur Velleia").
