Creeping Monkey-flower - native (Mimulus repens)
Family: Phyrmaceae.
Native of Australia and NZ.
Occurrence: Uncommon plant of damp swampy sites e.g. at the edge of drying reservoirs.
Identification:
- it is prostrate and mat-forming
- the leaves are small (a few mm) and in opposite pairs
- it has bluish flowers with yellow and white centre.
